You Matter
People matter. YOU matter. Why? Well, first and foremost, you matter because you are made in the image of God and have inherent worth. You also matter because, in a relationship-focused ministry like ours, we don’t just need programs — we need people. We need volunteers, donors, people praying over the ministry. People are the heartbeat of our ministry. Some serve, some give, some pray, and some open doors through relationships and partnerships. Each plays a different part, but all help make the work possible. People help create the environment where God transforms lives. And within that bigger picture, your part matters.
We know from our previous blog that some people plant and some water. And that is great news, because some people might be better at watering than at planting. And that’s okay. Some people naturally start conversations; others listen well, remember details, or make people feel comfortable. We each have different gifts and strengths that, when we come together, make the ministry stronger as a whole. That’s why the way you show up, the gifts and experiences you bring, and the generosity you demonstrate all matter to the bigger picture.
You matter not because everyone contributes the same way, but because each person plays a different part in the work God is doing through The Bridge. Thank you for sharing your gifts, resources, prayers, and time with The Bridge. However God has called you to be part of this work, your part matters. And we are grateful you are here.
